Sadie's Baby

Through the years Sadie has patiently allowed Mary (our niece) to dress her up in clothes, paint her toe nails, drag her around on a leash, and anything else Mary decided to do to her.  So we knew Sadie would be a great sister for our new arrival.

We would show Ella (our 2 month old niece) to Sadie and she really didn't pay much attention to her.  However, when we walked in the door from the hospital, we were greeted with a wagging tail (as always) and Clayton received many wet kisses.  She instantly knew Clayton was "her baby."  I often find Sadie sleeping next to her bassinet and if she doesn't know where Clayton is she will go to each of her usual spots (bassinet, crib, boppy) to check on her.  So glad our big baby and little baby like each other.

Christmas with Friends

Ski Lodge Party:
After two minutes of searching in my parent's attic, we were able to find the perfect outfits.  I can picture Johnny now skiing down the slopes in this get-up.
Swina Christmas Dinner:
Ex-Centennial co-workers....tear.

Paint-a-Piece

Saturday, December 18:
Mary and I went to Paint-a-Piece to make a Christmas gift for her mom.  Of course I couldn't resist and joined in on the fun.

I made ornaments for Clayton's 1st Christmas and took home paint to add her footprint.
Our creations:

Baby and Booze: Week 1

The first week of being a mom was full of laying around the house, recovering from having a baby, and enjoying mimosas and wine after months of being sober.  Harris was home on vacation from work and got to enjoy laying around the house with his three girls.

The white patch on her heel was from a band aid I just taken off her foot from when she had to get blood taken.
The picture below was taken on Friday, December 17 at 4:31pm when she was exactly 1 week one.

Are you sure I'm related to her?

Clayton is 2 days old and Ella (my sister's baby) is 10 weeks old.
