6 Month Check-Up

Charles' 6 month check-up:
18 pounds 6 ounces
27.5" long
17.25" head

Harris was able to go to this check-up.  I'm not sure why I didn't make him responsible for holding the child down since I'm always the bad guy.
Clayton loves going to Charles' check-ups since she isn't getting shots and gets rewarded.

Color Run

A friend, Shelby, was running the Color Run and even though I hadn't run very far recently, I thought it sounded fun.  I determined that my running shoes were not in any shape to run a 5K.  So I bought new shoes but came to my senses that I didn't want my new shoes (that weren't cheap) to get dirty.  As my mom was going to pick up my race packet, I realized that Mary would love this race so she signed her up!   We woke up early to head to the event and it was COLD outside.

All clean selfie.
We took pictures after each station to show our color progression.
=yellow
 =yellow+orange

 =yellow+orange+pink
  =yellow+orange+pink+blue
We finished!  And we only briefly walked once.

We stayed for the after ceremony.  Which was full of music and color bombs.  Mary loved it!
After awhile, I had all I could stand so I got out of the pack and Mary continued with the color explosions.
We had a fun morning together.  Definitely recommend everyone participating in a color run….and don't be scared that "run" is in the title….lastly, certainly don't buy new shoes for it.

Columbus Day

Harris was off work for Columbus Day so we had a fun-filled family day.  First stop was the Tupelo Buffalo Park.  We enjoyed showing Harris one of our favorite places to visit in Tupelo.

While Clayton played on the playground, Charles and I had a mini photo session.
Harris was hungry and when he is hungry, he is moody.  So we then headed to the Tupelo Fair so he could have his helping of fair food.

Clayton loves animals and didn't get enough of a fix at the Buffalo Park so we visited the petting zoo.
Love the smile on her face!  She loved the rides.
This is her thumbs up.  Melts my heart when she gives me her little "thumbs up."
The end of the day was spent with Charles crawling and
Harris napping.  A day on the town with two kiddos is exhausting for DaDa.
