May Phone Favorites

My first haircut since November. It was way overdue.

My dad and Clayton watching tv. This is a nightly ritual. Not sure who likes the cartoon movies more. Their matching bald spots are comical.

Favorite part of my day- seeing this smiling face when I go to get her out of her bed in the morning (that's if she doesn't wake up on the wrong side of the bed and is grumpy).

Tommy sleeps all day and parties (stalks) all night. So to catch him outside in the daylight is rare.

Sadie getting a better view of my parents going to the neighbor's house. (No, she isn't allowed on "most" furniture.)

This is for giggles...I am not a fan (aka really dislike) bows in infants hair.... even if the baby has a fro like my does.

Clayton loves her momma. In fact, a little too much. When she is tired, she will cry and cry when someone else is holding her. They can try everything imaginable to make her stop and get her to sleep....give her to her momma and she instantly stops crying and then proceeds to laugh at the person who just had her.

This is going to pose problems when I would like to go out for the night or on a trip for the weekend. Yes, she may be called a spoiled brat a "few" times.

5 Months Old Today

Clayton is 5 months old today!

A few things about my little baby:

Her favorite book is Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham.
Loves taking baths.
Isn't a picky eater and loves all of her veggies and fruits.
Likes to take her time with a bottle.
Smiles at her puppy dog sister, Sadie, and pets her (pulls her hair).
Prefers to sleep on her stomach and most of the time with her tush in the air.
Is wearing size 3 diapers and 9 months clothes.
Her favorite new trick is screaming.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we went to eat breakfast at Blue Plate Cafe and then drove downtown to see the historic flooding. The afternoon was filled with a feast of fried shrimp, fried oysters and grilled tuna.
