15 Months Old Check-Up

Charles had his 15 months old check-up.  And he's at the age where he remembers his past visits and his memories aren't positive ones.
 His stats are:
25 pounds 11 ounces
32" long
19" head
You know it's going to be a lovely appointment when the weighing and measuring requires comforting.
Clayton loves coming to Charles' appointments for the stamps….but mostly because they don't get near her.
Hurt feelings are saved for the end of the appointment.

Vacation Bible School

Clayton went to her first year at Vacation Bible School at the church Charles and her attend for Mother's Day Out.  My sweet neighbor friend, Meredith, was her leader.  I'm not sure how much she spoke there, but she came home talking about how much fun she had.
A lady brought a baby raccoons that they had found the day after the tornado.  Clayton thought it was the greatest.
The last night they had a little program and then fun with bounce houses and a water slide.  She thought she was going to be really brave and climbed to the top of the water slide….but then panicked and had to walk back down the stairs after much coaxing.

She was thrilled that the ice cream truck was there.

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

I decided that Sharon Hills needed to have a 1st annual Easter egg hunt since there are so many young kids in the neighborhood.  And it would be a fun way to celebrate the warmer weather and let the kids have fun.  The weather had been perfect…until the day of the hunt.  It was cold but everyone still had fun.
I wish I would have taken a picture of the eggs beforehand.  I overdid it with the number of eggs…but who wants to go to an Easter egg hunt when you only get a few?!

Precious girls checking out their loot.
We really are blessed with incredible neighbors.
Charles enjoyed playing in baby jail with sweet Jimmy.
A well-attended beginning to a neighborhood tradition.  Fun and fellowship was had by all.

Mimi's Birthday

To celebrate Mimi's birthday, we went to Chris & Phillip's house for crawfish and fellowship.

Charles had his first taste of crawfish.

Lee & Marilyn Chadwick, my parents dear friends
Laura and I grew up together.  She loves and spoils my kids like her own.
Mimi isn't scared to give the grandkids sugar.
