Cousin Saturday

My mom surprised Clayton on Saturday by picking up Ella in the morning and bringing back to her house.  They were so excited to see each other.

They are only two months apart and so different.  Although Clayton is younger, she is the one that leads Ella astray.  Clayton is constantly looking for something to get into while Ella is slower moving and way more talkative.  Ella tells on Clayton when she is doing something wrong; "Clate, phone" (when she takes someone's phone).  She will even say, "Clate, bad."  When we are calling Clayton to come back from wherever she has wandered off to, Ella will go get her and grab her hand and try to pull her back.  It rarely works but it's too cute.

They are both very loving to each other but at times Ella is stronger and more aggressive than Clayton and will get the toy that Clayton has.  While Clayton's method is to run and/or whine.
Ella's hair isn't a full mop like Clayton's is and doesn't require a bow to keep it out of her face while Clayton can't see without one.  She likes to take Clayton's bows out of her hair and says, "Clate, both."  She is a slight bit jealous of her bows and gets excited when she has a "both" in her hair like Clayton.

Clayton could care less about eating and very rarely will sit for an entire meal much less 3 minutes.  Going to a restaurant with her is a nightmare/not worth it.  Ella, noticeably enjoys eating more than Clayton and is quite content going in dinner and will actually eat the food that is given to her.

They are certainly best buds and I joke the only friend the other one has.  They get so excited to talk to each other on the phone and when they see each other.  I'm sure our future holds mediating many arguments, figuring out who bought the alcohol, or whose house they actually are staying at.  But maybe they will be Miller dormmates at LSU in 2028....unless both of their dad's brainwash them to go to Ole Miss.
