The 3rd Annual Pumpkin Carving contest contestants weren't as enthusiastic as last year however Kyle and I still brought the heat. (Kyle's are the two on the right.)
This year we went as another reality hunting family, the Robertson's from Duck Dynasty. (Yes, we noticed that we seem to dress Clayton as animals her dad shoots.)

We headed to our church's Trunk or Treat. Clayton wasn't sure what to do at first. We told her to hold her bag out and she couldn't believe when someone put two pieces of candy in there. As we walked away, she grabbed the candy out and handed me her bag to hold. We had to tell her to put the candy back in her bag and went to the next trunk. She quickly got the concept and had a ball.

Then off trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Clayton caught on to the ring the door concept of snagging candy. She quickly became a trick-or-treating monster. She didn't stay in the wagon long as her preferred method of transportation was running wild down the street. If they held out the bowl for her to grab a piece, she wisely chose, sometimes grabbing deep into the candy, and picking just what she wanted. And then would look at them like, "Can I have another?"
One sweet neighbor had a cute little display out. Clayton didn't mind helping herself at all.
The witch had a motion sensor and as we were leaving it starting talking and making creepy noises. Clayton was out of there.
It was a memorable Halloween that I'll never forget. And look how cute our nieces are in their costumes...
