I discussed with Dr. Y his extreme fussiness and colic. He suggested we change formulas from Enfamil Gentlease to Enfamil Nutramigen which is a hypoallergenic formula proven to help with colic. Although pricey, I can promise that no price is too high at this point for some relief from the crying. Yes, it is mentally draining but more so it is very upsetting to see something is wrong with your baby but not be able to help him.
Doc says he has muscle skills of a 3-4 month old, which is common in colicky babies who jerk around a bunch building muscles.
Charles didn't particularly enjoy his first round of shots.
But loving on momma made it better.
Clayton has no problems taking Charles to the doctor since her Mimi stamps her up before we leave. (Not sure how we didn't discover the stamps at the doctor's office until Charles was born.)
Clayton and I thought he needed a bandaid on his head. No, his head wasn't injured. Well, externally....verdict is still out on the inside.
After his shots, he slept from 7pm to 6:20am! I definitely checked on him in the middle of the night.
