We kept randomly smelling gas around our fireplace. After calling the gas company to check on it, they told us to evacuate the house. It was a tiny, tiny, tiny leak that was so small it barely was detectable. It was easily fixed. But anyhow, this is the picture of us "evacuated" in the driveway waiting on the gas man to check on it.
