In 2008, a group of friends started a BBQ team, The People's Republic of Swina, to compete in the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Contest.
We participated the first year and third years but Harris and I took a hiatus last year. We drove to Memphis Wednesday evening and went down to the festivities for team night.
It's for the team to finalize last minute details and decorations.
